I always wondered why we couldn’t go straight to the newest discovery and bypass the older treatments like induction therapy and stem cell transplant but again I’m not anywhere close to being a doctor but the only reasoning I come up with is it’s protocol these treatments have been tried tested and approved and work very good in getting the cancer under contol with those numbers going down and we have to go through them to get to the newer treatments that haven’t been quite so tested but that’s my opinion don’t take it to the bank or anything,

It's a money thing too, hard to go outside of the lines if our insurance will not cover it. We have to demand it , refuse standard protocol. Say enough is enough! I want this or just supportive care while I live with cancer until I die.
