He is in remission which is not the same as cancer free. Multiply Myeloma never goes away completely and can flair up at anytime, once again. Please don't give us the hope of being cancer free when there is no such hope.

Congressman Steve Scalise also has Multiple Myeloma. He had stem cell transplant recently and is now cancer free.

I hope some day I can be cancer free, but right now there is no cure for Multiply Myeloma! You can go into remission, but sooner or later the cancer will become active once again.
