This will be my husband second sct so they are already harvested and that should speed up the process Thank you for the answers

This May will be 3 years since my diagnosis. At last check I was in a very good partial remission. I’ve never had a SCT, although the stem cells have been harvested. Everyone is so different with this illness. Sooo🤷🏽‍♀️

That’s a good question for your doctor, assuming you have a MM Specialist/Hematologist/Oncologist. If you don’t, you need a second opinion.

Normally after the indoctrination therapy. For example, 16 weeks of Revlimid, Dexamethasone, Darzalex, Velcade or equivalent combo. Then a pause for harvesting your stem cells. So within about 6 months of diagnosis you’re out of the hospital and home recuperating for 100 days. And hopefully in “remission.”
