When you have very active MM and are taking treatment, the 2 pills daily can help to quickly create Butyrate in the colon. Butyrate can restore our natural Osteo Activity Balance.
Now that I'm back to Remission, I only take 1 pill daily, and not every day.
My wife takes one pill daily - it's helped her digestive system to return to normal daily activity.
Kelly,
@A MyMyelomaTeam Member uses Pendulum Glucose Control (2 pills daily) -Probiotic
And Microbiome MegaPre - one scoop daily in 16 oz water- Prebiotic.
I just use Activia or Fage yogurt every day and I have to tell you (without being too graphic) my bowel movements are spectacular. My stool meets the Dr Oz standard of long continuous tubular of normal color ending in a point. It sinks meaning there is little or no fat to make it float. I actually took a picture to show my wife. Of course she said why are you showing me that? Iām so proud!
So, that being said, Iām on Revlimid maintenance and other chemo so I am ecstatic about this development. I notice when I eat out or get takeout there is a marked deterioration so I like to cook at home.
Thank you MarkParker. I have read about poo for a very long time even before I got cancer. Its amazing what us older adults including the men will talk about now. I'm amazed at what all everyone shares on this site. We all have come a long way..God bless us all everyone...lol..I hope everyone has a great morning with their regime.
Just make sure you do let your doctor know you are taking probiotics. When my white count was really low. They only wanted me to take a children's dose. Also consider boosting your probiotics level with foods like pickles, broccoli and yogurt š
