Does Anyone Have Experience With Xtampza-ER And Nortriptyline ?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

They’ve been recommended to help with my neuropathy.

I’m interested to hear how well they worked and if any complications

Thanks

Part 2

Supplements on their own were never going to slow, stop or kill off that MM Bone Tumor Cancer. I tried for three months with Supplements, as it became worse.

I had to have Revlimid and Dex to kill-off the MM Bone Cancer, which it did within Two Weeks. My Full Weekly Labs documented this.

I believe my taking of C3 Curcumin - 8 grams daily, for the past two years helped my original remission to take place so quickly (I was back to Normal Labs in 6 weeks during Induction - 2 years ago). I also expect it helped me with this Lesion Event LAST Sept. My Marrow stayed shielded (they say that it doesn't work that way - that it had to be re-involved, but it wasn't). In addition, all of the Supplements were instrumental in my recent recovery - They simply say - "I don't understand but it's Great News - keep it up".

Early in Sept, 23' I consulted with my Interventional Radiologist (IntRad). He did my kyphoplasty two years ago on my fractured L4. I consulted with him regarding my active bone lesion about getting a biopsy to have a sample of the genetics to see if my MM had mutated. I would have had clonoSEQ get a sample to set a new Baseline for my future tests.

The most Important comment from IntRad during the Consult was to let the Revlimid & Dex Kill the Cancer and Only as A Last Resort should I get Radiation. He said the Radiation turns Bone to Stone (I found confirming info on the web) and there would be nothing left to biopsy.

The other thing I realized, is that as Stone, my lesion would no longer be able to regenerate itself as I managed to do with the Minerals, Vits, Pre&Probiotics that I was taking. As living tissue, my bone rebuilt itself once the cancer was gone and the construction site was properly assembled, as I did.

My months of researching Case Studies and the anatomy of our bones and blood led me to the selection of the Supplements I was taking - there was also plenty of info I found at the FB Forum - BEATING MULTIPLE MYELOMA WITH A NATUROPATHIC APPROACH (thanks to Patricia7 who insisted for months that I join that Group).

One very interesting one is they found that people with Butyrate in their colon are more likely to get to remission and those that do not - will Not. Butyrate comes from a healthy gut biome from a Plant Based Diet. I only changed over to this type of Diet about 6 months ago. Due to the FB Forum, I found that the Prebiotic of MegaPre and the Probiotic of Glucose Control were able, along with my Diet, to rapidly create Butyrate. When the Cancer is killed-off, Butyrate will reset IL-!7, which allows for normal osteoblasts to then perform bone construction.

I had no idea I could effect this so quickly but I did understand what I needed to provide for the possibility. Revlimid & Dex killed the Cancer very quickly - being enhanced by my Supplements and Diet, and my body took pity on me and very quickly rebuilt my humerous bone - in around 3 weeks, as the Alk-Phos documents. The Labs match up with my full Skeletal Survey showing the humerous lesion was completely healed (regenerated). While only a month earlier, my MRI indicated I needed major surgery to stabilize my left arm bone. Again all my Oncs and Specialists said - "I don't Understand..."

I know of another case with similar results of repairing bone lesions from prior to Treatment and Post Treatment using the same Pre & Probiotic. In that case, there were no Weekly Labs and time concentrated Imaging that showed the Cause & Effect. That person's Onc simply said - "I don't understand, thought it's Good News." It was from a Post at that FB Site, that I found this golden-nugget buried in a 136 entry long Post about Leaky Gut.

I've documented all of this at my Story @A MyMyelomaTeam Member. Hope any of it can help.

Another Neuropathy Hopeful:
I will be starting a JH Clinical Trial soon of Acupressure Ear Seeds (kits can be bought on Amazon for under ten dollars). They require both ears with about 20 taped on seeds, with pressure 3x daily for 3 minutes per. I have used them on my left ear for a few days and it seemed to be helping a little. For now, I'm waiting to regain the pain control I had, by starting these new Meds. Then I'll start their Trial to see if it helps.

Hi Jane - Thanks! I'll definitely check it out.

Met with my Retina Specialist yesterday for a follow-up (my PVD is healing very well). He told me to not take the Nortriptyline. He said its an old nerve pain med and it could be harmful to my eyes, especially with my recent PVD. Fortunately, I had not started it.

He agrees my PVD was probably caused by Dex I was taking for 3 months. I needed it short term but can't tolerate it past two months or so.

My Daily Supplements is a mountain of pills and powders. Now that my Lesion Event is over, I'm starting to cut back on my Daily List. My Labs are excellent - better than before the event even with being off MM Meds for 10 months.

Part 3

Here's from a recent reorganization of my Report that I've produced and posted to my Story. This new Chart helps to make the event even more obvious.

I had requested Full Weekly Labs so that I could Monitor my MSpike, IgA, and my Infection Markers of B2M, LDH, TSH, and CRP.
Seeing that my MSpike dropped weekly –

_________MSpik__B2M__LDH__TSH__CRP___IgA__AlkPh__SKap__VitD__Glcos Aug 18th......0.93.......3.07.......386.................2.97.....1417........76........124.......38.8.......110
Sept 08th.....0.65.......2.12.......304....1.96.....0.92.....918......276..........11.........52.........108
Sept 15th......0.33.......2.12.......227..................1.45.....555......526.........4.1......................120
Sept 22nd.....0.15.......1.68......156.....3.07.....0.57......339......551..........4.2........56.........123
Sept 29th......0.07.......1.81......143.....1.53.....1.05......203......402.........4.3......................108
Oct 09th.......Pres.......1.81..............................118.......281....................................84..........96
Oct 16th.......None......1.99......153.....2.38.....1.45......79........204.......4.2..........78.........144
Oct 23rd.......None......1.96......149.....3.40.....0.98.....46........175........5.0..........51.........109
Oct 30th.......None.....1.82......153......2.79.....1.79......35........166........3.9..........68..........98
Nov 13th.......None.....1.72......147......3.19.....0.76......27........150.........5.7..........64..........112

It was obvious the Bone Lesion was Killed-off by Sept 15th, only two weeks after starting Revlimid & Dex. If it was still Active, my MSpike would not have been able to drop as rapidly and consistently as it did - Based on my Lab Infection Markers. Since it can take 40 to 120 days for our peripheral blood to be completely replaced by new blood from our Marrow, and the weekly MSpike reduction was very consistent. I was expecting there would be no MSpike quite soon. To have it gone on Oct 16th was very much as expected.
.
.
I have no idea if what I've done can help your Bone Lesions and related MM Issues but I've learnt that I do not want to consume animal products since they provide the Hemi Iron that Cancer Must Have to sustain and grow. Avoid process sugar and all animal products while there's Active MM. Starve the Cancer and provide Cancer Killing MM Meds and Supplements. These will make the Treatment More Effective. There's hundreds of Case Studies that have documented this.

My insurance company didn’t want to pay for oxycodone ER anymore so they said that they would pay for XTAMPZA. My doctor prescribed it and I started it and took it for 6 months. It wasn’t working for my pain and my doctor represcribed the oxycodone.
