My husband diagnosed in 2009, currently on sarclisa,Pom,Dex. Recently developed orthostatic hypotension, lasts for a short periods, How has it changed lifestyle? He’s semi retired and we downsized to a condo, we have always had dogs. He wants to get another one, can’t decide if it’s a good idea or not? Anyone with experienced with this side effect and how it changed your lifestyle?
I haven't been on Sarclisa, yet. Has he had a cardiac work up? Heart issues are in the side effects. I love dogs more than anything. Unless you have family willing to help dog sit etc, it's probably better to wait and see what's up with his blood pressure 💕🥰
On please vent here💖💕 I had an awful time the first year I was diagnosed. I am doing fabulous now. I've been on the same treatments since my transplant over 6 years ago. So I can't complain. The latest CURE magazine has an article on Cargiver Concerns, how you all are in danger of getting sick yourself. Sending big hugs 💖💕
Yes I have what I call the wobble effect just sorta unsteady
Thank you, you too❤️
Marcie , my husband has myeloma too. I get what you are saying. Take care of yourself too❤️
