God bless you both. I hope he does well. The fatigue with Pomalyst is pretty miserable at timesππ₯°
Thank you Donna.π
Delighted to know your doublet treatment is working well for you. Long may it continue to keep your myeloma under control.
My husband also has high risk myeloma, Stage 3 when diagnosed in 2016. Dr put him on pomalyst plus dexamethasone 3 months ago and happy to note that his tumour markers have come down a lot. Just prior to that he had 4 days of intensive chemotherapy (4 different drugs given intravenously) after becoming refractory to 4 other treatments in the past 12 months. Was in hospital 3 weeks before strong enough to come home.
My husband hopeful pomalyst will continue to work as this is the 9th change of treatment since diagnosis. He suffers from fatigue and other side effects (relatively mild in the scheme of things) plus the bone pain which I monitor. I have had to take over management of all his medications, especially his pain meds which are on the restricted list so have strict protocols in their administration.
