when I was on Revlimid and Velcade I had bad muscle spasms and crazy bad neuropathy. I had loss feeling in my right hand and foot pain. I’m glad it’s gone along with Revlimid 🙏🏽

Hi Pat - Try 60mg quick dissolve melatonin around 2 hours before you want to go to sleep.

Melatonin only works in darkness. It will comfortably shut down your brain to be quiet and allow a very good nice sleep.

It makes me a little groggy in the morning but I shake it off easily. If needed you can reduce it to 40 or 30mg nightly.

Melatonin is not addictive and you can stop it immediately without withdraw issues

Give it a try and report back.

Great to hear you are in remission and off all MM meds. From what Stage and Treatment?

Part 2

Avoid a SCT if Possible - There are many people where its a life saving procedure since they don't respond to treatment or they relapse quickly But to get a SCT just because your Onc says to, is wrong. My JH Onc said _ Get it now or 3 years from now was not going to change my Overall Survival. I responded to treatment, no SCT, Negative in 7 months. 15 months later, my bone lesion was active and my marrow was Not. My intact immune system had learnt about MM and was part of my immune response to fight MM. My high percentage of Natural Killer Cells (11% of my recent - Aug 23' - hip biopsy) also helped to defend me. My Diet and Supplements helped.

My immune system has returned to normal cbc, cmp, k/l ratio, etc.

Getting off MM Meds and having a healthy diet and key supplements has done in under two months what took over a year last time. I've only been on this Diet and Supplements for about 6 months. I can easily tell - I'll never be dealing with MM again and if I do, I've created an environment where Revlimid and Dex will quickly resolve it again.

Be sure to Exercise Regularly - 3 days a week minimum and work up a swet. Planet Fitness is Free to Seniors with Silver Sneakers or similar. Work up to a mile on the elliptical, even if you take breaks at 1/4 mile intervals. When my lesion was Active, I could not lift a 5 pound bar. Now I'm back to 50 to 70 pound resistance loads at various stations. It's one of the Most Important things you can do to live well and prevent an endless list of maladies.
