Alicia, you can go to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation website. Under finding the right team. Put in your zip code. It will give a list of Myeloma Specialists in your area. You might have to drive a ways. You need a Specialist to coordinate your treatments. Your regular oncologist can give you the treatments locally. The MMRF also has a patient navigator. Also the Healthtree Foundation website for myeloma has videos that tell all about myeloma and it's treatments. You can also get a myeloma coach through Healthtree. I hope this helps๐๐
thanks Donna. please share. I am unaware of Myeloma specialist in the state
You might have to make due until you turn 65. So what if you are traveling and get sick?? Medicare does have supplements that have out of state out of country coverage. Virginia does have some myeloma Specialists.
