Broken Pelvis Repair?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

After months of severe pain in my right hip, a fall cause the socket are to shatter and the right pelvis broke in several areas with a fairly big myeloma lesion in the “horn”. Anyone else had this? Have they been able to fit you with a hip replacement?

What a nightmare for you. My hip pain came back last night, so I took an extra dose of calcium, magnesium and D3 & K2. I have severe osteoporosis, so I don’t think I would be functioning if not for those supplements. I pray you have a great surgeon and heal quickly. Larry2 has a great list of supplements to heal quickly. He takes Stronium at night to grow his bones back.

Rebecca,
I honestly have not done a lot of research. I only go by how my body responds. I like Solaray, Doctor’s Best Noni, COQ10, Curcumin, MRM - Bone Maximizer and Alpha Lipoic Acid and Nordic Naturals - D3 & K2. I like Bob’s RedMill Nutritional Yeast to prevent neuropathy.

Paula, what do you consider the best and cleanest brand of vitamins and supplements. I’ve been using Thorne vitamins?

I had severe pain in my hip. It kept getting more painful. Had an operation to elevate the sciatica, but the hip pain persisted. It shattered when I fell going to an orthopedic surgeon.

My last CT shows degeneration of the pelvis, hips and L4-L5, and sacroiliac. I maybe in your shoes sooner than later. My legs are collapsing unexpectedly more often. Did you have any signs like this before it happened?
