If yes, have you had less severe disease and a better prognosis?
I read a study called women in connection that found 60% of people in the study that took a statin were less likely to be diagnosed with multiple myeloma. And that rose that were diagnosed with multiple myeloma were less likely to have severe disease and a better prognosis.
Just curious to hear from our team members.
I take Lipitor took it before mm no problems with it
I have taken Simvastatin for years and never heard of any side effects or that they caused multiple myeloma. I have never had any side effects with this medicine. I was just tested last week and learned that my protein was still small and had not yet turned into cancer. Also, my multiple myeloma doctor never mentioned any correlation to me regarding Simvastatin.
I won't ever take a statin because of their side effects. I took Plavix and it gave me a lot of pain. I take supplements like flush free niacin to control my cholesterol If you search for natural remedies to things there are so many supplements that help. Be sure to take CoQ10 also. Peak supplements have a lot of good ones.
Thanks DBScott. That’s the first time I ever noticed anyone getting a B-day notice. I saw it by my name when I posted the question.
Happy birthday month Maryanne🎉
