I have had around a dozen, or so, skin cancers that had to be removed in my lifetime. All of them were basal cell carcinoma and they all occurred prior to my diagnosis of multiple myeloma in March 2021. So far, I’ve not had any problems with skin cancers even though I’ve been on several different chemotherapy regimens since 2021. I am going to my dermatologist every 6 months to be checked, but again it’s due to my history of skin cancers prior to getting multiple myeloma. You might want to consider a different chemotherapy regimen to see if that helps. It’s too bad that all chemo drugs have some side effects. And those can vary for each patient. My husband has had skin cancers removed the last 12 years. Diagnosed with MM in 2021. His dermatologist has him come in every 6 months and only once out of those 12 years that he didn’t have to have anything removed. He’s had melanoma, squamous and basal cell cancers removed. He asked his PCP if he needed to keep getting them taken off with everything else he has going on and he said most definitely since you are more prone to skin cancer with MM and treatment.

Revlimid or lenalidomide has a tendency to cause Squamish cell and basal cell skin cancers. Google for the side effects

I had surgery for Melanoma on both upper arms. The right worse than the left and it required a skin graft but this was not related to MM.

My husband has had 5 so far since his mm diagnosis in 2018. They are easily taken care of with mohs surgery. We now have him checked every 6 months
