Yes, very helpful. Cancer drug costs are out of sight. Its just unethical.
Besides treatment costs which for me have mostly been covered by insurance, I lost 50% of my income when I was forced to retire due to this disease. And even more recent my wife was out of work for 3 months to care for me. Unfortunately 50% of your expenses don’t disappear when you retire.

On Medicare and Humana and WellCare pharmacy plan. Talk to your oncology team. They go through this every day!

There are various grants to help with costs for Revlimid . The are several different programs described on MyMyelomaTeam resource articles under financial ,and the reference on Healthtree Financial Coach should point you in the right direction. My Revlimid has been covered by several different grants for 4 1/2 years. Most healthcare providers such as cancer centers or cancer drug specialty pharmacies help to direct you to grants as well. It is common for grants to be available. If a grant is out of funds for the year others are available. My oncologist pharmacy takes care of this as a service.
