I had nasty itching and rash while on Revlimid for a few months back in 2016. I asked if it was a serious or dangerous. He said, "No, but you don't want to itch for the rest of your life." That's when I started taking Pomalyst. It has done a marvelous job, up until this year. Ninlaro was added to the mix (I still take the Pomalyst), and that seems to be doing a good job. I will know more in a week or so, after the lab report comes in (blood draw today at (9:00 am).
Hi Ron, I had severe itching before diagnosis. I kept thinking it was my soap. Getting myeloma treatment did help. Severe itching is miserable.
Ron3, I’ve had the same kind of itchy skin. It’s almost like you can’t find the source of the itch. Sometimes it’s on my ankles, other times my legs. I have attributed it to the myeloma. Anti itch cream has helped with this issue
My doctor said the myeloma is back under control. His main concern right now is my fatigue, caused by the Ninlaro. I am to call if this go-round causes severe fatigue. If so, he will lower the dose next time. He wants to use the smallest effective dose that doesn't cause unacceptable fatigue. That will also tend to extend the length of its effectiveness. If problems arise later, he would be able to bump the dose up.
Im extremely dry on Revlimed. Have to use lots of moisturizer on arms and legs and even esr lobes!!
