I'm late to this reply lol, but just want to throw my two cents in here. I'm on 10mg lenalidomide (generic for revlimid). lena costs me a $10 copay compared to $80 for revlimid. anyway, I was having the usual diarrhea. I found out lenalidomide causes bile acid malabsorption. when I read the symptoms of BAM, I had them all! my oncologist prescribed me colesevelam. I'm back to no diarrhea. it took me a few weeks to figure out the amount that wouldn't constipate me, but it works for me.
I am on 10mg of Revlimid after stem cell transplant in November
Doing ok apart from tiredness 21 days on then 7 off I am high risk so thankful it will hopefully keep me in remission for some time yet
I was taking Revlimid 25 mg. since 2020. I read that it is very effective for MM stage III. I did stem cell transplant. My Revlimid dosage is 10 mg since August 2021 (SCT). Diarrhea, tiredness, and little appetite. I choose for myself to stay on it as my maintenance medication. I just want to stay in remission. I am on it 21 days and off for one week. Before transplant I took the stronger dose every day... 6 rounds of chemo.... Every person's body chemistry is different. I wish you the best in your journey.
My husband is on 10 mg of Revlimid since last fall. So far he is doing good. Tired & his feet & legs hurt but I think that is more from the chemo last year.
The 10 mg dose helped keep my hubby’s numbers good. He is on 5 now and still has some issues with diarrhea.
