IIeen I would get a second opinion from a specialist in Oncology because they may have a treatment plan for you.

Yes your doctor will tell you. It's important to understand that Myeloma is a blood cancer and it is staged differently from solid tumors and it's important, but it doesn't really say much about our prognosis. Staging is really just used for research purposes for myeloma. I was staged at 3b at diagnosis which is the highest stage for myeloma. But I'm still here over 6 years later and my kidneys are fine😉

Ileen you have nothing too lose by getting a second opinion and just like everything else there are good and bad Oncologists and you just happened too get a crappy one.
