My Stage 3 MM Igg was 5900 at the beginning now 610 my BETA 2 Microglobulin was 4.52 has been going down for 2 years now starting to go up to 3.45 reading. My M Spike or Abnormal Protein Band 1 is now .2 was 4.0. So seems everything was looking good put "they" say if your BETA 2 Microglobulin starts going up your MM prognosis is not good.

Jeafra, hopefully it will go back down. One lab results doesn't really tell much. I'm reading that it can be elevated for other reasons too. Like kidney issues. But it is an important marker for myeloma. Please let me know what your doctor says. Your other numbers look good πŸ™πŸ₯°πŸ’—

Jeafra, I argue with my specialist every time I see him. I don't want to be on this medicine either, but he says my myeloma will go crazy without it, so I take it. πŸ˜”

Well Donna I feel Iike I am back to square one. My Beta 2 -microglobulin is up to 3.85 and my M Spike is now .4. Last month it was 3.20 and M Spike was .3. I get concerned because I don't want to be on any more medicine but we shall see. I go to Oncologist on August 25.
