Supplement is better than a advance plan. They pay very little on labs

Yes, this is where it is to your benefit to get a supplement as opposed to an Advantage plan. At least with my supplement I don't need referrals.

Thanks for the the reply, cwight. My husband did not get a supplement when he started. He went with Medicare Advantage. The DISADVANTAGE is that it he has had to wait for approvals and SCT has still not proceeded.

I retired in October 2020, a year after getting myeloma which was diagnosed in 2019. I got my supplement with no problem. If it is your first time getting a supplement they cannot deny you insurance for preexisting conditions.
