Had SCT End Of June, 2022… Maintenance Treatment Is Velcade Weekly Via Ninlaro, 3mg, Pill. Anyone Else Doing This Treatment?
I was surprised at the choice of Maintenance treatment as was my local oncologist. We both were expecting Revlimid. My SCT oncologist at Duke Medical recommended the Velcade/Ninlaro treatment, 3mg weekly for 3 weeks, off a week, then repeat the cycle. Curious to know if anyone else is using this maintenance treatment. Thx & God Bless.
Hello Hdrew72
I am from Canada
I am high risk. Had my SCT Jan 2022. My maintenance is a Bortezombib (Velcade) shot every two weeks. I’m doing well with it so far. I also had bortezombib with my initial induction chemo treatment and did well.
I am 55 years old. So far so good. Hope it stays this way. Best to you!!
I also had my transplant the end of June I just started Revlimid maintenance dose last month. Hope you're doing well!
Update. I'm not doing velcade. Its zomata that I'm doing once a month. For some reason I always mix the two up
I had sct in June also, in Chicago. My Oncologist started me on 10 mg of revlimid for the last month starting velcade once a month in a few weeks. I did see an mm specialist and she suggested I talk to him about adding darzelex. So I did and he told me to talk to his partner who oversaw my sct and makes all the final recommendations. I see him next week. Following this conversation as any information I helpful. Thank you for posting this question.
