I have neuropathy bad in both legs. After being on Gabaphen for years I was told about a new product from Puritans Pride called Alpha Lipoic Acid 600 MG. It has helped with the neuropathy. I recommend that.

I wear compression socks as much as possible and my feet don't bother me.
Although, like Larry stated about varying degrees, all I have is numbness on the bottom of my feet. No accompanying pain.

I have been on gabapentin which made me forgetful and stopped working so I went off of it. My doctor then put me on pregabalin which did the same thing. I found these house slippers on amazon that have these tiny beads inside the slippers and you place them into the microwave for 90 seconds and it really helps ease the neuropathy pain and tingling. Believe me, I have tried everything from creams to foot massagers and the slippers seem to work the best for me.I hope this helps.😀

It’s quite interesting how we’re all so different as to the degree of neuropathy and the degree of things like gabapentin help. A year ago I started Induction and quickly had neuropathy issues. I was placed on gabapentin and in a few months it increased to 1800mg a day. After months with no real relief I had my GP provide me oxycodone which I continue at 4 times daily at 5mg per. I tolerate this very well and function just fine, including driving. I have, over time reduced the gaby to 600mg (3x200) daily total. I’m planning to phase the gaby out completely during the next few weeks (recently dropped from 900mg to 600mg).

Early Jan I’ll start in on a 6 week free treatment of acupuncture that my hospital offers to cancer people. My nurse suggested I try it.

It’s a shame, my neuropathy is my only lingering problem since I’m currently off all MM Meds, just being monitored for good behavior.

I do wear two pairs of socks - sport sock and a heat retainer sock. My shoes are oversized to fit them.

I’ve tried every ointment and potion mentioned this forum and others to no avail.

No physical therapy for me but what really helped was gabapentin 200mg at bedtime and loose diabetics socks
