When you see your doctor they will let you know if they are concerned. Hugs

My M-spike went from 0.5 in January to 0.9 in June. I have a regular oncologist, but not a MM specialist. Hard to find specialists that accept my MediCaid (MediCal, here in California). The oncologist says he's not worried yet, with my M-spike's rise. I am! 🙁 Wish I could offer some advice. Best of luck to you.

My oncologist doesn’t explain much either…I get most of my useful information off this site .

Thanks, Emma! I reckon I could try to call Molina, the MediCal HMO that offers the other services I need, like transportation, and see if they know of anyone. I literally spent all summer researching to finally find the oncologist and palliative doctor I found, who would accept MediCal Molina. Has to be Molina, (I tried every other combo I could think of) to pay for transportation and to be accepted by my local clinic and the local pharmacy. And the right benefits, etc. UCSD stopped taking Molina and just dropped us in June, 2020. It was a bit of a bummer. But I do like the two docs I found, they're both very personable and supportive of my semi-hands-off approach to my cancer. No SCT, no surgeries, minimal testing. It's a long story...but I like how it's been going. Knock on wood, eh? Thanks for your kindness, Emma.
