I am now in Active MM and it is escalating at an alarming rate. My light chain ratio went from 80% to 182% in 4 weeks. All the other numbers are also going crazy. I start chemo Tuesday. I will be on the following:
Daratumad, Velcade, and Cyclophosphamide. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Laurie,
People confuse “Never, ever give up, with Never lose faith.” I like to think that as each day starts, I’m one step closer to Paradise, so I better start tidying up.
No it doesn't mean you will get myeloma. My older sister has had MGUS for 10 years. She is fine. I'm the one with the high risk myeloma. You can Google the stats on MGUS going into myeloma. The great… read more

Original diagnosis of lambda light chain myeloma but in remission after stem cell transplant
Cathy the light chain ratios are hard to understand. They can go up and down some too. I think they are more concerned with the pattern from month to month. All the best, Doloresđź«‚
I’m sorry you are dealing with myeloma
I can only be grateful for how much research has been done and the success they’ve made in treating myeloma just in the past 5-10 years

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing well. I’m wondering if my work career had anything to do with my issues. I worked as a R&D lab technician for 27 years and as a chemical operator for 7. How long does it take for MGUS to progress to Multiple Myeloma
After watching some of Dr Brandy’s talks online, I was amazed at how smart he is. He has MM too and is doing quite well.
Hello my dear friends
Has anyone else had this problem? If so what was the treatment.
I want you to know what a comfort you all are to me I feel so blessed having my MM club. Have a lovely weekend xx
I see this going up.
I have a hard time getting any information out of my Oncologist.
Any suggestions on how to get information out of her.

She says is we are monitoring at times she says I don’t have Multiple Myeloma, and other times she does say I have Multiple Myeloma. So confusing.
I am taking Revelmid 15mg.
Hi Vince, are you able to get access to your patient portal? It helped me to look up my labs so I could understand why they were too low or too high.
