I guess I can comment on this subject again. Since this morning my dr message me to let me know I’m in “complete remission “ Although I have Minimal Residual Disease” which mean I must continue to take REVIMID and Darzalex Faspro. My body still hurts. But I’m gonna take this an run with it🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️

Yes, I’ve had 3. And each one indicated my percentage of cancer cells in the bone marrow. The 1st was 20%. The second was 50%. The last was 10%. On my second one then started me on treatment. So you can see how much I improved by the last one. This is one of the best test they can give to let you know where you are, along with CT and PET scans. I hope this helps🌹

@A MyMyelomaTeam Member. Exactly, it must be obtained, even if it takes more than one try. I know first hand😳😳😂

LG, The doctor will usually do a bone marrow biopsy! If it shows no myeloma cells present in the bone marrow sample it is determined you are in Remission! They can also do a MRD Test to test for any Myeloma Cells.
