What is CCML
Is this site for all blood cancers, not just Multiple Myeloma? Is there a different section or page for other myelomas, such as Leukemia?I just did a search and saw this site is for myeloma, and only mentioned Multiple Myeloma once, so I'm assuming MM is just one.....
Just multiple myeloma.
So confused, it took drs. 6 years to find anal cancer at a stage 4, how is this smoldering?

I was diagnosed with multiple Myeloma in April of 2021 after several spinal fractures were found. I had a stem cell transplant in Nov 2021. I was on Darzalex and Revlimid, but recently went off the Darzalex. I also no longer take dexamethasone or Acyclovir. I am in very good partial remission. I get a Zometa infusion every 3 months .

My partner needs to get a dental cleaning. No fillings or other things at this point.
Is it all right if he just gets the cleaning?
I know that if any kind of bone involvement is needed it would have to be a special procedure.
Cleanings are not usually a problem unless platelets are low. As long as your dentist is aware of the presence of MM. Extractions are another matter, and your dentist should be in touch with your MM… read more
