Has any one been able to get approved for Disability with myeloma?
I agree with Donna. You should qualify but you need to investigate.
Also consider talking to a disability attorney as well. You don't have to go through them but get information
They will be a good resource for you on that π ππΌ
Yes. In Maryland it's spacificly listed for approval. I was approved this year less than 3 months after filing.
Along with painful hip pains, I decided to go into early retirement.
I have not had a stem cell transplant, but was granted disability based on the multiple compression fractures in my back. DonnaAndrew is right, It has been a blessing for me also although I really miss my job. I applied online also. I was denied the first time, but I had very little help from the local social security office and really had no idea what I was doing. I dropped off my medical records and a letter from my doctor stating the physical limitations of my condition. I had several different things going on at the time, but I was told to focus on one condition. Good luck!!
I applied two years ago in Georgia and still havenβt gotten an approval yet
You should probably call. Myeloma qualifies you. Especially if you are going to have a transplant.
