Excess Moisture In My Mouth
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

If feels like the moisture makes foamy bubbles on my tongue. So many in fact that I carry a cup around the house and spit into it. I hardly get finished spitting then another increase and ready to spit again. Of course I have a terrible taste in my mouth but my tongue is sore and just very annoying and uncomfortable. I don't appear to have sores in my mouth or on my tongue. The front edge of my tongue is very sensitive. Of course I am living with it but it is AWFUL.

I will talk to my oncologist again in June and see if its an issue with the different medications.

Thanks Marcia I have recently seen an oral surgeon and no infection and no real explanation what is causing this. I am currently on Revlimid and the usual but was taken off Kyprolis about 6 weeks ago because it really bought me down. I have been told by my oncologist an endodontist and oral dental surgeon that I am just lucky to have moisture mouth rather than dry mouth but it doesn't make you feel hopeful. I'll let you know if a miracle happens. I feel better just talking about it maybe someone will have an answer.
