Hello so I would like to know if any one that got the covid shot and stopped chemo while getting the shot. Has any problems with their white blood count going lower? And did your ANC # go really low
I went to get my treatment today after being off for 6 weeks due to getting covid shot. I couldn't get treatment because my ANC # was way to low my Dr said I would end up in hospital. Prayers it goes up. I don't know if the vaccine lowers the numbers. I know Revlimid does. Keep hydrated, healthy meals & lotsa rest. When mine goes down I add more spinach, citrus and protein to help the numbers rise.π
I had just gotten 4vaccinations in January 2021 and they asked me to wait 4 weeks before Covid vaccination. I never stopped my Revlimid-21 days on with 7 off
I have received 14 vaccinations since stem cell in January 2020
Doing good
I had both shots while on treatment no problem
My Dr advised me to get Covid shot on my off week. I get a Valcade shot every other week. And a Xgeva shot once a month
I was on chemo shot when I had my covid shot no problem
