I am about to go on Medicare and was SHOCKED at the cost of the copay for Revlimid which I am starting as maintenance therapy. Even with the supplemental prescription coverage, it is obscenely expensive. Why is there no generic available? I am wondering how others deal with this? We don't qualify for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society assistance program. Anything else out there? Thank you.
My supplement insurance and the grant cover my cost. My Oncologist office takes care on getting me a grant each time

I'm am 2+ years off Revlemid maintenance and still in remission! I feel great! Ask your doc of this might work for your husband.
I’m really struggling with taking 20 mg of Dexamethasone weekly. It’s 50 degrees here and I’m sweating like I’m in the Caribbean…. Can anyone explain why we need to take all the dex in one day? I wish we could take 1 a day for 5 days…. Thanks in advance for any suggestions…. I have no idea if this will be my maintenance therapy for the rest of my life but it’s not a great maintenance plan for me…
It’s been so long since I’ve taken Dexamethasone I can’t remember how it affected me the only thing I do remember is that it gave me insomnia the night after I took it.
I was told by a doctor that studies are being done as to the length of time We stay on revlimid during maintenance.
I was in the clinical trial about three years and was in remission so I was taken off Revlimed. entire time. We’ll see how it goes when I go for my follow-up appt. after six months.

Taking revlamid for almost a year with no problem and suddenly I developed a rash and now have diarrhea. Anyone have these problems? Thanks
For constipation - start with magnesium glycinate 400mg and add magnesium citrate 200mg if needed. More citrate and less glycinate if needed for a total of 600mg daily

Family members who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant must avoid contact with this medication. Otherwise there should be no problem with families and friends being around you.
I am in remission after stem cell transplant but I was prescribed Revlimid as maintenance therapy. I have to take it until relapse. What is your experience with this medication.
I was taking Relamid for about 7 months 1 1/2 years ago. Now not on for the rest of the time. I have SMM, so that may make a difference. Stay as healthy as possible. God Bless You Dale.
