What is considered a high Immunoglobulin G number.

Mine is about 2200 and has risen steadily for a couple of years. I originally was diagnosed with smoldering myeloma but was changed to MGUS. M-Spike has also risen trending up to 1.74. Doctors say I should have no worries but I've read that 1.5 M-spike and above is something to be concerned about.

My sister also has MGUS. She stresses also, when her labs go up, but she has been stable over 6 years. Hoping you stay stable also.๐Ÿ˜‡ It's scary worrying about the labs, but you don't want to take these drugs if you don't need to.

Mark, is this a myeloma specialist talking? Do you have any CRAB criteria? Did they check your bone marrow biopsy? You are probably fine, but a second opinion wouldn't hurt to make you feel more at ease

Thank you for the reassurance. It means a lot.

Thank you. No CRAB symptoms, except my RBC is always low. And WBC is borderline low. I had a biopsy back in 2007 and it was 10 percent myeloma, enough for a smoldering diagnosis, I guess. I recently had a full body MRI. All clear with that. I have a bone survey once a year. I might take your advice for a second opinion. Ive googled this trend and all I get are the basic criteria.
