At What Point Are We Considered To Be In Remission?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

When I first started treatment, my oncologist said we would be watching the Kappa/Lambda ratio. He said we would like for it to be around 1. We are now approaching that. What other criteria are important when remission is achieved?

No abnormal plasma cells in the bone marrow. Stable blood counts, normal light chains and ratio, no M spike in serum protein electrophoresis, no new bone lesions, stable kidney function, stable calcium levels. Minimal residual disease negativity would be awesome too😍

Thank you so much DonnaAndrew. That information is really helpful. I think of so many questions for my oncologist and even have a list. For some reason it seems like I am never able to get them in during my visit.
