Ok so here I go again. 😔. I have now lost my taste. Nothing has any taste and most things I eat makes me sick. I've tried just plain toast but that sits heavy. I know I've read people say they have lost their taste so I'm thinking it's normal just wonder does it go on now till I'm done with chemo? Any advice on things to eat? I think this is the crazyest ride I've been in. So much unknown.
I lost my taste also I was told to rinse my mouth with warm salt water or baking soda
That’s my world. Some days are fine and others you wonder what was cooking or who!!
Hey Suz! Did I hear you mention chocolate? Ahhhhhhh! Chocolate is my Friend! Yogurt, eggs and steel cut oats are at the top of my list these days! Sometimes pizza is decent and other times the sauce doesn’t make the cut
I also have lost the taste for coffee, as well as heavy pastas and pizza. I do eat quite a bit of yogurt, eggs, oatmeal, and chocolate.
I would sit and eat dry cereals . Fresh fruits . Spicy omelettes . I used to love chicken and just started being able to eat that , going on 8 months since SCT . Another favorite was cream of wheat with blueberries or oatmeal with fruit on it . I would make Nachos in the microwave with refried beans and cheese . Things come back .
My Sense Of Taste Has Been Compromised And I No Longer Taste Food As It Use To Taste. Food Is Dry And Tasteless. How Long Does This Last??
I Have An Altered Taste And Need To Eat And Drink Food With Strong Taste, Whatever Is That Sweet, Salty, Sour, Etc.
My Taste Buds Are Off. Things Just Don’t Taste The Same. Does Anyone Else Have This Symptom?
