My husband was diagnosed after Covid pandemic.
Shipmates
I was in perfect health, well maybe a few pounds overweight. I never took any pills except for my migraines. No high blood pressure no high cholesterol, no history of cancer in my family. I’m the first. I had my blood tests done at my physical in November 2020. Everything was fine, no problem. March and April 2021, I received my Covid vaccines and in November, 2021, I was told I had way to much protein in my blood. I needed to go to an oncologist and was diagnosed with… read more
My first COVID vaccine caused a spike in my light chains, but it was temporary. I don't remember if my protein pattern was effected..
I will have my blood tested to determine if I have Covid antibodies. My doc provided a script.
I had a really severe reaction too my last Covid vaccine and ended up sick in bed for 5.5 months and that was the second time I had a reaction too the Covid vaccine so no more Covid vaccines for me… read more

Netta, please ask for a printout of your lab work that is ordered by your oncologist every time they do your monthly doctor's labs. Keep them together in a loose-leaf binder organized by date. This… read more

Does anyone know if there is a Class Action lawsuit in the works related to Multiple Mylomia, and OTC Male Enhancement supplements which many have been proven to contain generic Viagra?

Well, Ms. Ryan, an interesting question. Causes one to reflect on the joys of living. I've not heard this concern with male enhancement drugs. At my age clinical proof of deleterious effects would not… read more
Healing takes weeks instead of days.
Yes, healing is slow. As above, but also due to lowered immunity caused by the treatment.
I have gotten the initial 2 shots and have had 2 additional booster vaccines. My last booster was Nov. 18, 2021. When I called my doctor's office to ask if I needed another vaccine, they simply said yes you need one every six months. I don't want to overlook the fact that they are coming out with new vaccines that are more affective against some of the newer variants. I don't know if I should just get the original vaccine or wait for one of the newer ones. I'm curious to know what is being… read more
My oncologist said to get my 5th shot and I am fine. Never have had Covid yet. Knock on wood. Stay healthy and God Bless.
I'm going to a trade show in Sept. and possibly another in Oct.
I'm still immune compromised and its probably going to be a long time before my immune system will recover. Due to Covid, I've mostly been working from home but not exclusively - food shopping, restaurants, recently movies again, and endless doctor, PT, and now gym visits, etc.
Being on a plane and in close contact to thousands of people at a trade show is a whole new level of exposure that concerns me.
Thanks
So sorry🥴
Because there are so many side effects with the various medications and also the symptoms of MM create similar problems it’s difficult to figure what you should ignore and what it’s possible your doctor can help with.
I just was extremely exhausted and spent most my time in bed for 5 months a lot like really bad flu symptoms except no fever.
