My doc put me on blood thinners to avoid a clot when I started a maintenance dose of revlimid. He said patients who are on it for extended times can develop blood clots

My doc said no prescription blood thinner was needed. Directed me to take an 81mg aspirin daily. Have had no clotting issues, and the only bruising is from the occasional bungled blood draw.
