I just found out I have Multiple Myeloma last week. So I am looking at expensive treatments in the future. I have till Feb. 12th to decide if I should improve my medical coverage. So any advise would be valuable to me to have some idea of future costs.

Here is a place that may help you
Leukemia & lymphoma society
(Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators)
They give grants
I got a grant that send your money back on insurance premiums and copay for doctor visits if you get a treatment, I get bone treatment each month Xgeva
And also pays for some medicines
Hope this helps some of you
Another place that helps is
Copay relief

And Healthwell

I would keep the highest coverage possible, the testing is very expensive.

I have BC/BS as well and my coverage has been good. Mine is a Medicare supplement and was recommended by my insurance agent.

We have gotten grants from Healthwell and now Leukemia and lymphoma Society. If we didn’t have the grants we would have wiped out our savings by now. Our Walgreens pharmacist has been extremely helpful securing the grants. Your adjusted gross income cannot exceed 70,000 Very thankful for this assistance

Our health system is very different in Canada . Even between the provinces coverage may vary. We arefortunate to have almost all our costs covered. Feeling very blessed.
