X-rays were taken but nothing showed up. The pain occurs when he attempts to sit down or stand up. Not while he is sitting or lying down.
Pain may be referred to knees from spinal nerves CT or PET or MRI essential.
I am taking oxycodone 5mg and it is not helping my back pain. I was in hydrocodone but they took me off because they were afraid it would cause liver damage. What is everybody else taking for back pain.?

Anyone ever been told they have this? I was just diagnosed with it. I was told it's osteoarthritis, common in aging, but curious how & if it relates to multiple myeloma. I am aware of spinal issues with multiple myeloma.

I have tried acupuncture with little improvement.
My paraprotien figures are continuing to rise.Hopefully they will start to come down now i hsve started a course of lanidomide.the only thing worrying me at the moment is a continuous pain in my right side and lower back.The best way to describe it is the same as a severe stitch.I have tried all manner of pain killers,nothing seems to work it just constantly aches.
