I just discovered I am ultra high risk smoldering MM due to having chromosome abnormalities 1q21, 1q22, and q32. It makes me less likely to benefit from treatment. Looking for best way to deal with it. ANyone have any experience?

I’m getting ready to start the process for autologous stem cell transplant next week. I’m wondering if there will be a point in my future where I have energy and feel good again. I have suffered from terrible fatigue for a number of years now. It would be terrific if I will eventually feel like my old self, but maybe that doesn’t happen?
I am almost 5 years post ASCT. It took me about a year to return to my old self. I really did not have many side effects of the transplant FATIGUE.

Thank you Tricia. I think that is why people take curcumin supplements (tumeric) because to get the recommended amount of tumeric you would have to eat a ton! thank you for your response!
Or had SMM for some time and haven't progressed.
I'm told I have a 50% chance of progressing in the first 5 years.
And 70% over 10 years. I'm not sure what my odds are of hitting a dear with all the country driving I do. I'm signing up for a clinical trial that tries to prevent progression.
