Back Pain
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am taking oxycodone 5mg and it is not helping my back pain. I was in hydrocodone but they took me off because they were afraid it would cause liver damage. What is everybody else taking for back pain.?

I asked my Oncologist about pain meds. She said when I start having pain, she will send me to Pain Management. My mom had a tumor on her spine. They gave her morphine and a fentanyl patch on her hip.

I am on Methadone 10 mgs and Hydromorphone 4 MG. Neither is really helping with my back pain so my palliative doctor has sent me to a pain management doctor to place a pain pump into my back and hip. My pain management doctor appt is in mid May.
