I don't feel bad about the lack of remembering....I tell people I am just happy to be alive. 😁

Revlamid is a form of Thalidomid (sp?) the drug that caused all the birth defects. I was in a trial on another drug that was a form of mustard gas. So how can we not have side effects? I have a tendency to forget my zip code, my street number, etc but usually only when I am tired. My GP tested me and says my memory is fine. So I will just take chemo brain and worry about something else and use my cute post it notes. I feel blessed to be alive and able to do things.

I am 76, take silver jewelry classes, repurpose furniture, weld yard art, write poetry and children's stories (unpublished), raise a garden and ride my horse. I try to pay it forward by doing care packages for friends and family that are ill or sad and also do random acts of kindness. So keeping busy works for me and now I must be off.
