Velcade is not as known to cause rashes. Revlimid can cause rashes for sure.
Sometimes a lower dose may help and then progress to a higher dose. All the best๐Ÿ™

That is an interesting conversation to have. What can be expected if treatment is stopped when you are in remission for a while? My nurse practioner told me that the MM will return with a vengeance. Stopping is not recommended.

One week after stopping treatment my husband developed a inflamed prostate which led to a UTI which led to a bladder infection followed by a kidney infection. He either suffered Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy ,a rare side effect of Valcade Bortezamid or the encephalopathy was caused by the infection going sepsis. The swelling of his brain has gone down after 2weeks,but he acts like he's had a stroke . I am having to move him to a skilled nursing facility o Monday .All chemotherapy has been stopped by choice and now I just want him safe and comfortable. Our faith is strong but never see any posts from people who choose to stop treatment.
