Red Skin After Darzalex Faspro?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Yesterday started my 5th cycle of the therapy. This is my second time with Darzalex FasPro /first 3 cycles were with infusions/. Last month there was no side effects. Yesterday they put me the injection and today My skin got red on the legs at the morning and now it's red on the chest and arms too. Is that normal, should I be worried and go to the hospital or wait till the morning?

Valeri,
How are you doing today? Did you go to the hospital or did you wait to talk to your doctor? Sorry to be so nosy, but I think we all worry and pray for each other.

Call your doctor. Don’t wait. We would all be guessing. Everyone is different.

sorry, this may be too late. But the biggest issue with Darzalex is a potential allergic type reaction. Weezing, shortness of breath, heart rate reaction. I was prescribed an Albuterol inhaler. Make sure you have one and use it if needed. Take your vitals every day; blood oxygen level, heart rate and blood pressure.
I hate to be the one to overreact but I learned my lesson with a drug called Dapson that nearly killed me by lowering my blood oxygen levels down to the 70% range.
Never hesitate. Go to the hospitol.
Good luck and I'll be praying for you.
