Ileen you have nothing too lose by getting a second opinion and just like everything else there are good and bad Oncologists and you just happened too get a crappy one.
I'm curious why my doctor gets offended if I complain about back pain and other myloema and chemo effects.He thinks because my levels have been brought down significantly far as light chains I shouldn't be having any complaints well that's how he brushes it off from my view.could be wrong though.

I've currently been diagnosed with a single plasmacytoma in right tibia, which we'll treat soon. It appears that I may be on the line between starting treatment for multiple myeloma (some indicators are okay, and a few aren't). We're inclined to monitor things carefully and not start treatment for a while, if that is possible

Has anyone had many bone lesions -- and then had SCT? Does SCT help prevent the development of more lesions, or not necessarily?
Apparently when our Syracuse doctor sent a report to our Florida oncologist, he said that my husband has IgA Myeloma. We had never heard it classified this way before, and our Florida oncologist also said that none of his tests showed that. Wondering if anyone here has IgA Myeloma and if so, what test was done to determine that?
