You can be on Revlimid for a very long time. Just make sure that your doctor monitors you for ALL (leukimia) which can be a side effect of long term use of Revlimid.

I was on Revlimid 13 months after being in remission. SCT done August 2019, remission 10/19, complete remission 3/20 and taken off Revlimid 10/20. Hope this helps. Everyone is different. I was only on 5 mg because any higher doses sent my labs plummeting.

Hi Donna, There is no specific time line There are many variants, such as your doctors views, how deep your remission is Or if you are not in Remission it could be a long time, it also depends on your labs and how ou are doing on your maintenance dose of Revlimid. There is no hard and fast rule. Talk to your doctor. Love, Marcia 🌸

I believe after a SCT you have the option of going on maintenance which could include Revlimid alone or in combination with other drugs. I think the duration is subject to how well you tolerate the Revlimid, or how effective it is in treating MM and whether you relapse on it and can no longer use Revlimid. In the future other options will likely be available but it remains an effective choice for many MM patients. In my case, I had a full body rash reaction to Revlimid after being on it for approx. 13 months. I went off of it for about a year and then my m-protein numbers started to rise and I started the Dara, Dex and Revlimid combination. I have been on the latter for a year now and am doing very well and have not experienced any real problems other than the usual side effects. I have read many patients reporting that they have been on revlimid for several years.

I had my SCT in July 2019. Started on maintenance Oct 2019 10mg. Still on 10mg. May have to lower dose as my WBCs also been low.
