Yes it is frustrating not being able to turn pages, especially in my well worn bible.

However, it has definitely became much more intense in the past 2 years. I now must use a walker as my balance is very poor. Also my fingers are numb feeling, I also get a tingling burning, itchy feelings in my hands and arms in the early morning. Any advice to relieve these feelings would be appreciated.

I’m taking Nutritional yeast which has B vitamins in it. Also, Alpha Lopoic Acid.

Has anyone heard of or tried Combined Electrochemical treatment (CET) for neuropathy? I have a consult tomorrow with Loma Linda Medical Center here in Southern California to see if is something I would benefit from. Insurance doesn’t cover it, but the consult is free so going to hear what they have to say.

I would ask a podiatrist as there are various types of neuropathy and treatments may be different.

Neuropathy is generally permanent. Meds can modify symptoms. Best to keep at bay in beginning if possible. Velcade is esp notorious as a cause of neuropathy.

I was just diagnosed last Wednesday, no treatment is needed at this. I'm scheduled for a nerve test on the 28th of this month due to possible neuropathy. I'm not diabetic. Could this disease damage your nerve?
