I,m very interested in clinical trials as Car-T cell immunotherapy for MM patients and also for Dendritic cell Therapy
I am currently in clinical trial S1803 and just started cycle 4. the study is for Post SCT maintenance therapy using the gold standard Lenalidomide vs Lenalidomide and Daratumumab/rHuPH20. It just… read more
Yes! Most get infection during Scot recovery, my doc told me 10 % die. Don't know if its true but several ended up in icy I do know
I know this will sound silly, but my husband also gets foot, leg cramps. A dill pickle, or the juice of a dill pickle eases his cramps in seconds. I don't know why. Definitely won't hurt to try.
I’d like to propose a Test for the members of this Forum that would be able to participate
The idea is to compare your MSpike Results to a Blood Sample (Labs) clonoSEQ Test Results
I’ve recently discussed Labs - Blood Sample clonoSEQ Testing with my Onc at Johns Hopkins (JH). When a person is Negative, JH now accept a Blood Sample clonoSEQ test as a Valid Method to Track a person's MRD Status
Unfortunately, JH feels there's no value in getting a clonoSEQ test (even from a simple blood sample)… read more

A GI specialist prescribed me e probiotic but all I've read is not ok to take it. I'm +36 day and still have nausea and diarrhea from time to time. I am worried it will get worse. What did your transplantation specialists say?
Valerie, you will need to run it by your transplant doctor first. They only wanted me to take children's probiotics cause my counts were still low

I would like to know what the '(CKD-EPI)', after the GFR means?
So my kidneys are trying to tell me something apparently and it could be many things, according to a search ( age, weight, activity etc ).
SO, should I be concerned? My blood tests from yesterday are just starting to be posted in my patient portal, so I don't know what the rest of the results are yet. I don't usually have a problem, kidney wise.
Yes, on the lab test range/s. I could be overreacting, going by the responses on here

I have suffered from this for around 7 years, gastroparesis makes it worse, PCP prescribed Zofran after OTC meds stopped working, doctors say MGUS doesn't cause this. I'm confused and tired of the nausea.
Thank you @A MyMyelomaTeam Member, I appreciate your reply! I hope your nausea gets better! 🤗🙏
Last 9 mos. treatments have been weekly with Velcade and steroids and Darzalex every 3rd week. My M-1 Spike protein has been pretty steady at 1.1 to 1.3. Still have some fatigue, weakness and get out of breath easily. I get XGEVA shots monthly. Bones (except lower back mainly from golf) are in good shape. Same as with kidneys. I’m not eligible for bone marrow transplant due to age
