I just read an article about why it's important. It's because D3 helps you to absorb calcium and K2 tells the Calcium where to go! It directs the calcium to the bones instead of the soft tissue, which can cause atherosclerosis and heart attacks. It also activates osteocalcin, which holds calcium to bone.
