I'm wondering if anyone has changed
their eating habits due to their condition. I keep reading it's best to go on a plant based diet. Does anyone follow - https://squareone.chrisbeatcancer.com/video-red... or the Gerson Therapy and it's juicing recommendations and use of turmeric, beets, carrots (among others) for their healing qualities?
I have also changed my eating habits and I am trying a diet with more Veggies and less meat. I don't know if is helping my condition, but I feel better.
I take Advils 200 mgs
Sometimes acetaminophen 250 mg with aspirin 250 mg with caffeine 65 mg. EQUATE.
I made my harvesting and I'm wainting for date for SCT. Probably there will be a month or more waiting time. Should I do 1 more cycle chemo in this time or no meds is better?

I'm wondering how important is diet? When I was first diagnosed I read a lot about diet. But when I asked my Dr he said eat what ever you want.... I'm wondering if any one has any other thoughts on this. Has your Dr talk to you about diet. I read alkaline diets are good. Because I'm still on no treatment and would like to stay that way. I'm wondering if any one has thoughts on it

My IgG and IgM are low low and the IgA is high high and the Kappa Light Chain is rising... so I was at UPenn yesterday and received guidance for the IviG treatments. Thoughts?

I have had a stem cell transplant and been on maintenance therapy for 2 1/2 years. I have high risk MM with translocation 14;16. I have been MRD negative since the transplant. Will I need to stay on this treatment for as long as it works?

I was given Zometa for the first time but the drip rate was 8 minutes. Upon reading about zometa, the minimum time states 15 minutes. Anyway, the next morning I could not breath it felt like I had a collapsed lung and I hurt all over. I went to the ED and they assured me I was getting air, they took a CAT scan and xrays of my lungs with nothing to show.
