Amy is a registered nurse with over six years of experience as a credentialed school nurse managing children with chronic health conditions, including diabetes, asthma, seizures, and food allergies. She has built a school health services department from the ground up that incorporates staff training, health policies and procedures, safety and emergency guidance, individual health care plans, mandatory screenings, special education services, and most recently, COVID-19 guidance.
Amy is also a freelance nurse writer.
