A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone ever had severe eye or face swelling from daratumbin or dexacon and velcade.
Th dr just added daratumin and his eyes have swollen bags which look like they are filled up n can burst if u stick a pin I. Each and his face n lips are swollen. He had the treatment Tuesday and it happened on Friday. Thx in advance. 🙏

Linda, I hope you've reported this to the doctor...it could be an allergic reaction that needs attending to. Ron gets slightly swollen jowls from Darzalex, but it doesn't last more than a day or two.

My husbands looks like edema under his eyes. They gave him Benadryl with his treatment and they think he is allergic to that. I never would of thought that caused it. Thx everyone
Stay safe and healthy
