Has Anyone Had Covid And Had To Delay Treatment?
A MyMyelomaTeam Member asked a question šŸ’

I got covid and strep on my week off of meds and then the dr delayed chemo for another week. I am scheduled to start back chemo and adding darzalex fast pro on Tuesday July 12. Is this too soon, as I feel terrible still? My temp broke two days ago. I will be starting 4th cycle. Iā€™m actually nervous about this becauee the fatigue covid has brought on and I still feel sick.

There is a new shot to protect against COVID, it's called Evusheld. Maybe you should ask you doc about that, it is in addition to the regular vaccine and boosters. It may not help with existing cases but it protects for about 6 months when taken.

I would talk to my Dr about my next treatment if I was still feeling bad he may not want you to take it.

I agree Iā€™d let them know I am still sill feeling bad. I know my Dr tells me that Covid will delay treatment for a while but never said how long
