Still in remission with absolutely no maintenance therapy (besides monthly IVIG and Zomeda). I was on the Cartitude trial through Jansen which was just approved this year. I did have CRS while in the hospital which the doctors took care of. No residual effects that I am aware of. My platelets and neutrophils have taken a hit and are still recovering (getting nplate injection for boosting platelets and another for ANC). Looking at the trial study there have been cases still in remission and it seems to be lasting longer than the first one approved. I am thrilled with the CAR-T results given that I was a Stem Cell failure ( only 3 month remission)! Had the procedure done at Yale and the doctors and nurses are fabulous! They literally saved my life, my myeloma was getting out of control just prior to the CAR-T.

Since my CAR-T (Dec 2021), I have been getting monthly IVIG treatment. No problems with the treatment and so far staying healthy!

I’ve been getting monthly IVIG since Covid started. I have a permanent port in my chest, so no IV sticks. I have not had a problem at all. It is a blood product, so they are very careful and pre-treat with Tylenol, benedryl, and steroids. Since I’ve been getting it for so long with no reactions, they don’t give me the steroids anymore. I’m so happy because I hate them!

Several people on here get it. It's for people with low immunoglobulins that keep getting infections. It's a once a month infusion. I hope you do well with treatment 💕

Awesome! What are your results looking like from CART -T Treatment. From reading understand that it is less toxic on multiple myeloma patients. What is the range for remission?
